The Philip Francis Postcard Collection offers a glimpse into British Columbia’s past through postcards that highlight its people, events, industries, landmarks, and transportation. Many of these postcards come from the "golden age" of postcards, between 1900 and 1920. What makes this collection even more special is the personal messages written on many of the cards, sharing stories and everyday moments from that era.
