The document is the 1994 B. C. Colleges and Institutes Female Student Outcomes Report, produced by the B. C. Ministry of Skills, Training and Labour (MSTL) and the Outcomes Working Group (OWG). The report focuses on outcomes for female former students from the B. C. public post-secondary education system and compares these results with the outcomes of their male counterparts. The data were derived from the 1994 annual survey of former B. C. college and institute students. Analysis is split based on whether the former students had been enrolled in academic or non-academic programs. For the non-academic programs, analysis is further split based on whether the former students had been enrolled in career or vocational programs. Comparative data are shown for both males and females, and labour market results such as current employment rates and salary earnings, are highlighted. Results from academic programs are tabulated differently because the survey format for these former students was different. Included is information on transfer rates in addition to employment data.
