This document is a manual on learning styles in adult education programs for Indigenous people. It was prepared to encourage Indigenous programs to clarify and document their successful educational initiatives. The data for the manual was gathered from the 1986 Nokee Kwe study.
The document is a manual published for adult educators in Ontario. It guides them on how the nature of their job is evolving, how to connect with their students and meet their needs, understanding different learning styles and processes, and shares inputs from different adult educators on different facets of teaching including specific subjects like life skills, math, computer science, communication, grammar, computer literacy, life skills, reading and writing, science and trade and technical training.
