This is the first written document conceiving of an international choral festival organized by the Powell River Academy of Music and hosted in Powell River. It proposes understanding, goodwill and collaboration. It also contains a planning schedule, festival schedule, and organizational structure of the people involved in its conception. The original typewritten document was lost, and now only photocopies remain.
The Festival Syllabus details the competitions that participants could enter during the first Choral Festival Kathaumixw. It gives a description of what must be performed for each competition, who can perform and what the prize monies are for the winners. It also contains rules for entry, as well as entry forms and information about accommodation, transportation and hospitality.
