Description / Synopsis
The Spring 2007 edition of the St. John's College newsletter describes several charitable projects, both in Vancouver and abroad, supported by SJC's Outreach Committee. The newsletter also includes a special message from SJC principal Tim Brook and an opinion piece by Faculty Fellow Michael Byers on what he thinks makes Canada, and SJC, unique. It also features a profile on Quo-Wei Lee Fellowship winner Jobb Arnold, as well as information on a FIFA World Cup viewing event hosted by SJC. Lastly, the newsletter provides updates on a "Rock 'n' Resistance" lecture series organized by Ingo Schmidt and Yvonne Gillespie. |
