Located in page 29 ; captioned "Mrs. J.D. Kennedy, on behalf ode to the United Church Women, presented the six small memorial windows in the lower north wall in memory of the pioneer women of this church and of the former St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and the former Wesley Methodist Church// The six lower windows depict St.Peter curing Dorca, Lydia receiving the baptism, Martha doing housework, Mary praying, Ruth near Boaz sleeping, Ruth with Naomi, and all are from the same source and by the same artist// The U.C.W met the cost of these windows with a $3000.00 legacy from Mrs. Frank Baker, and certain other donations. Acknowledgements take the form of bronze plaques on the north wall near the entrance and on the wall near the entrance to the centre aisle." typed in black on green paper. |
