The Sketch Abstracts collection fosters different clusters of meaning through the interpretation and retelling of the titles and abstracts of three UBC thesis. This collection presents a reinterpretation of these academic stories through sketches. While these visual representations and annotation often synthesize the narratives originally intended by their authors, they also add further meaning and abstraction to the academic storytelling format. Ultimately, this collection can potentially expand the interpretations of the selected work.
