Each member of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Teams competing in Beijing was provided with a Lucky Loonie as their own personal good luck charm. The reverse features a common Loon getting ready to take flight with the Canadian Olympic Team's logo at its side. On the outer periphery are the words "CANADA" and "DOLLAR". Just beside the loon is the year of issue.
