This document is a workshop presented at the National Consultation on Career Development Conference on January 27, 1993. It was presented by Marena Fakli, the Senior Consultant of the Access Initiatives Branch of the Apprenticeship and Industry Training Division of the Alberta Advanced Eduation and Career Development (AAECD). The presentation provides up-to-date trade occupation information about trade descriptions, characteristics and skills of tradespeople, education levels of tradespeople, advantages of trade occupations, trade occupation choice influencers, trade occupation satisfaction levels, and women in trades.
