Headmaster Alan Brown (A.C.M. Brown) and students riding on the back of a truck delivering chairs and tables to new Junior School building (previously the convent building). In his "Headmaster's Report" in The Georgian for 1980, Mr. Brown wrote: "At 9:00 a.m. on Monday, the entire senior school descended upon the junior school and carried every movable item, including all desks, every chair, books, teachers' desks, common room contents, everything, down to the convent. Such was the swiftness of this operation that by 9:30 on that morning the junior school was actually in class and under instruction, so that for them, Grades 2 to 7, the total amount of school time missed because of this transition, was 30 minutes."
