6542 Lime Street, Vancouver 14, B.C. Canada. Dec. 8.1951 Dr. James M. Harrison, "Bowerwood House" St. Botolph's Road, Sevenoaks, Kent. England. Dear Dr. Harrison; The box of birds has just arrived and I am very pleased to have them. There were only nine birds in the box, the tenth a Ruddy Turnstone was not there. You will be pleased to hear that I have now secured an American Bittern for you. An Indian killed it with a slingshot and I hope before the winter is over to have a good sized shipment to make to you. Do you wish to have a pair of Ancient Murrelets and a N. [ILLEGIBLE] Murrelet. Can spare these. Your wooden box travelled very nicely and I will use it for a return trip. No, I have no specimens at all of your Bucephala Albeola and there are quite a number of your ducks and gees that I need, but I cannot ask for them until I have suitable exchange material to offer. It is a bit early, but let me wish you the compliments of the season and express the hope that you may all have a very happy time over the holiday season. With kind regards, Yours very sincerely, Kenneth Racey P.S. If you wish so I can get an Old Squaw [illegible] for you. Please let me know.
