I would like to secure a pair each of the Great Spotted and the Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers. Can you assist me in
obtaining these? I can offer in exchange and adult pair of Bonaparte Gulls and a pair of Sitka Crossbills, All excellent
specimens. If you can make the exchange and it is agreeable to you send as soon as convenient and I will be glad to do
the same from this end.
Thank you for your letter of Feby. 1st. From other sources I have been able to secure both the Dotterel and the Barnacle
Goose.
