Practice for Sports Day has startec
on both the School grounds and the Ball
Parks The grades from one to seven are
praeticing evenings on the school ground
ds while the High "Sbhool practices on
the BallPark.

The students from Mr. Grosnicks
room and the High Sehool are taking
turns in the field playing basepall.

The high jump standards and the _
broad jump pit have been completed at the
ball park. There is only a broad jump
pit in the school grounds. ~

The road crew has been at work again
lately fixing all the woads from one end
of the town to the other. Mr. Olson

graded the Kaleva road:froa Victor
Wirkkis up to the camp. Ray Yanner'’s cat
pulled the grader along the new road and
the Rough Bay road. VicShiels has graded
a bit of the Rough Bav road from the
bridge up to Numis. So all tne roads are
in beeter shape than they have been for

a long time.
