f) Janiel Jolley talked about the possibility of looking for

a Women s Caucus headquarters downtown for the purpose of (1)
keeping all educational literature, phone ‘and mailing lists;
(2) broading our contacts by bringing our crganization to the
attention of the public; (3) providing us with a meeting place
less formal than the fishermey s hall; and (4) providing us

with a place to work on Women s Caucus projects. It was decided
that a finance committee should be set up to investigate the
possibility of fund raising for this headquaters as well as
other financial matters arising. :

h) Sue Clause volunteered for the Working Committee to replace

Judy Peterson who will be moving to Minnipeg. ** Janice Nairn,

Bev Gibbs, Donna Liberson, and Janiel Jolley volunteered for
the Finance Committee. :
Panel Discussion:

A panel discussion on Women in the Labour Force was presented
by panelists Bouk Elzinge, hospital worker: Marge Storm, wood-
worker; and Janiel Jolley, office worker.

The next meeting will be held on June 18th at the fishermen s
hall. Margaret Benston will investigate the possibility of
getting Marlene Dixon to speak at this meeting.
