be a Celebrity Ballgame
starting at 6:30 p.m. at the
slo-pitch fields. Some of

Babych.

Sun Fun is now into its
third session, August 2 to
12. The final session is
August 15 to 26. Sun Fun
is for children ages 6 to 12
years old.

The kids will go on
hike, make crafts, have a
sleepover, play games and
sports, and most of all

have an exciting day of
fun with Moya, Tina,
Toni and Nicole. The
leaders look forward to
meeting your children in
these sessions.

Adult Tennis Clinics are
still happening and Art
Stewart, the instructor,
would love to show you
how to improve your ten-
nis game. There are some
upcoming three-hour clin-
ics on August 6 and 7,
August 13 and 14, and
September 3 and 4. The
balls are supplied; all you
need to do is come to the
class with a racquet.

The swimming pool is
back in operation! On
August 4 at 9:00 a.m.
there is swimming lesson
registration for the final
two sessions August 8-19,
and August 15-26. é

The pool swimming
times will be changing a
little in August, so come
by the front desk of the
Community Centre and
get a detailed swim sched-
ule.

open Monday to Friday

rances, social graces, de-
veloping your personality,
grooming and skin care,
flattering make-up appli-
cation, nail care, hair care
and styling, colour and

techniques and routines
for a fashion show. You
may register at the front
desk and pick up a more
detailed course outline.

Library hours are Mo-
day, Wednesday, and Fri-
day from 10 a.m. to 5
p.m., and Tuesday and
Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5
p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The library is closed on
Saturday and Sunday.

Tumbler Ridge Days is
drawing near. The dates
to mark on your calendar
are August 19-21 for the
Blue Ribbon Days, Ro-
deo, Musical Experience,

Pony Rides, Pancake
Breakfast and much
more.

The Terry Fox Pledge
Forms are in. The run,
walk, cycle route is 10 km,
and a map is waiting for
you at the Community
Centre. Come and get
started on your pledge to
raise money for cancer
research.
