It employs 4 people. The liquor store will also carry the majority of popular alcoholic beverages at a good price. The store hours are Tuesday to Saturday 12:30 to 8:00 with lunch breaks taken 3:00-4:00. D. DeMelt SCHOOL ADVISORY COMMITTEE The first school advisory meeting was held Wed., March 9, 1983. Bob Wilson called the meeting to order with the following advisory members in attendance: Mr. & Mrs. King, Radies, and Simard; Mr. Brown, Mrs. Peters, and Mr. DeMelt. Mr. Wilson brought everyone up to date on the school plans for the next year - elementary school fin- ished by Sept/83, grades 10 and 11 and 12 in the present school until early '84 when the high school is finished, and grades 7,8, & 9 going wherever space will best accommodate them. The BC school curriculum was dis- cussed as was the need to keep everyone in town informed as fully as possible. Bob Wilson and his staff were con- gratulated for the excellent repu- tation the school has to date. The need to maintain this reputation and solve any potential problems immediately was mentioned as a high priority. The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 PM. L. DeMelt TUMBLER TIDBITS Progress is being made on the rental trailer park. Lots will rent for $215 per month. This park should be completed by July. A location has been chosen beside the Mustang Camp for baseball diamonds. Clearing should begin shortly. | Both Quintette and Teck-Bullmoose employees have begun to move into their apartments.
