RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. All entries to be made not later than 5 p.m., September 5th (Saturday). Secretary will be on the grounds on the afternoon of that day, or entries may be sent to his address at Brackendale, B. C. All entries to be made on the proper form and to be obtained from the Secretary.” Entry fees for non-members 10c each entry up to five entries. Extra entries free. Indian Basket-Work will be accepted free. 2. All exhibits of fruit, vegetables, field produce, flowers, ladies’ work and children’s work to be in position by 8 a.m... Monday, September 7. Livestock and poultry exhibits before 9.30 a.m., of the same date. All exhibits to remain in place. till 4.30 p.m., September 7th. 3. Members of the Institute ‘and family are entitled to free» entries. Admission to grounds, 25c for member and family. Non-members over 14 years of nee 25@ eacn. Price of Membership. Ticket for current year is one | tae ($1.00). 5d. In poultry classes,-the entry must in every instance be made in the name of the bona fide owner. If any person shall exhibit any bird of which he is not the bona fide owner he will forfeit any premium which may be awarded him. §. In all other classes entry must be made in the name of the producers or manufacturers. @ 7. Every article must be Bntered under some one of the headings in the regular list. ‘8. On-the entry of Bethe bird or article a and will be furnished exhibitor, specifying the class, division and number of entry; which card must remain attached to the bird or article during the exhibition. 9. Any exhibit not bearing an entry ticket will be dis- qualified. 10. The President and Board of Directors shall have super- vision of grounds and exhibition generally. 11. Should there arise any dispute or misunderstanding not governed by these By-laws, it shall be referred to the Board of Directors in ii ceede on the day of the Fair, whose decision is final. 12. No person shall be vod in the exhibit rooms while judging is in progress, except the judges and their attendants. 13. The Board of Directors will use every precaution in their power for the proper preservation of articles or birds on exhibition, but will not be accauntable for loss or damage. Exhibitors must attend to their articles or birds during the Hxhibition and to their removal at its close. i4.
