Centre while the mothers discussed ow the program would be handled. or the time being a mother who has had rownie experience will be matched with ne who hasn't and the program will be un on a rotating basis until someone is illing to lead. | Wilson PROTESTANTS ORGANIZE A meeting was held on Sunday, 13 Feb. to discuss what Protestant church services Tumbler Ridge residents would like. It was attended by members of the clergy; Anglican, United, and Presbyterian, from Dawson Creek and Chetwynd. Six interested Tumbler Ridge residents were present and all expressed their ideas, ranging from evensong, family church services, and Sunday school. services will be 3rd and 5th To begin with, held as follows: Sundays at 4 PM. and and Ath Sundays at 7 PM. Services will begin 6 March at 4 PM. At the 4 PM service arrange- ments will be made for children to be looked after once their part of the service is over. Children would be welcome at the 7 PM service but no special arrange- ments will be made for them. The clergy suggested the Tumbler Ridge congregation form a com- mittee to arrange the setting up of refreshments for those who attend the services. They also asked that thought be given to finding local people to lead services when necessary. INTERDENOMINATIONAL CHURCH SERVICE March 6, 1983 at 4 PM will see the first Interdenominational Church Services take place in the Recreation Centre. Clergy will be attending from Dawson Creek and Chetwynd and will be inviting members of their con- gregations to attend with them for our first service.
