A film was hown on B.S.E. Besides impressing the mnportance of B.S.E., it demonstrated he technique. Already we have been sked to bring the film back at another ime for those who could not make the will, CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY (Cont'd.) workshop. The film, pamphlets, questions and answers were well received and made a very informative and interesting workshop. Dr. Jean Clarke and Mrs. Myrna Draper were in attendance to help with questions and answers and of course are available for follow-up regarding this workshop. The Tumbler Ridge Unit has been formed With a President, Service to Patient Chairperson and an Education Chair- person. We still need volunteers for a Treasurer and a Secretary. Education - The Education Chairperson on request, order films, and/or videos for you to show to your group, club or workplace. Call and see what films, etc. are suitable to your use. Service to Patients - Anyone needing financial or emotional support regarding a cancer-related matter is asked to call the Service to Patient Chairperson. Margaret Wilson THE PIZZA PLACE Mr. Victor Fargas and Miss Nancy Vandersteen are about to join the growing ranks of Tumbler Ridge entrepreneurs. On April 15 or 16 THE PIZZA PLACE, their take-out restaurant, opens for business, serving home-baked pizza, BBQ ribs and BBQ chicken. If Victor's fame as "the best cook at any of the camps" holds true, his biggest problem will be too much business. THE PIZZA PLACE is located beside the Bank complex - will be open 7 days a week from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. - there's plenty of parking - and we wish Victor and Nancy the best of luck in their new venture.
