Founded in 1999, Co.ERASGA is a contemporary dance
company grounded in the principles of innovation,
artistic integrity and social reflection. Supporting and
contributing to the development of dance worldwide
with a goal of empowering the visions of working dance
artists, we share with others through diverse partner-
ships in education, dialogue, collaboration, dissemina-
tion and touring activities. Co.ERASGA has visited over
forty different cities and communities outside Vancou-
ver, and across four continents, to share the art of
dance. Guided by the belief that dance serves as a vital
physical medium for catalyzing social awareness and
dialogue, the company creates works that has examine
gender, identity and cross-cultural issues in today’s
society. Co.ERASGA continues to seek new and
challenging projects that provide opportunities to
expand our practice of contemporary dance.
