Residents launch life@sjc Last October, an ambitious group of St. John’s residents took it upon themselves to launch an Internet Magazine that is giving fellow students, college staff and curious outsiders a first-hand look at life at the College. Shanghai, — “Our I-Mag, Life@SJC, gives resi- dents the opportunity to share their knowledge, experiences, viewpoints and literary creativity, and to show- _ case College life,” explained Kein _ Gan, a member of the magazine’s : editorial team. “We see it as an inexpensive way to bring college residents closer together.” With two issues complete, it looks like the Magazine is fulfilling its mission. Feedback has been extremely positive and the written contributions have been both creative and touching, as in the case of a personal story about life with Tourette Syndrome. The editorial team, consisting of Kein Gan, Pamela Perry Hardy, Dan Hornan, Miranda Gillespie, Nanda Kumar, Alberto Mendez and Kenji Okuma, expects to produce new issues about every six weeks.
