A fed par will end up hurting someone and ill be destroyed. = THE TUMBLER TIMES - PAGE 9 HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENTS ON THE WAY The Provincial Ministry of Trans- portation and Highways will build a new paved highway from the town of Chetwynd to Tumbler Ridge, a Gistance of 92 kilometers, and upgrade the existing Heritage Highway which connects Dawson Creek to the new town. The new highway requires the construction of seven bridges at an estimated cost of.$10 million. Approximately two-thirds of the high- way from Tumbler Ridge to Chetwynd will be paved this summer; on the Chetwynd end, from Chetwynd to Gwillim Lake, on the Tumbler Ridge end from Tumbler Ridge to Quintette 1000-man camp turnoff and from Tumbler Ridge to the Wolverine (near the Teck silos). The remaining one third will be paved next year. At this time there is no plan to pave the Heritage Highway. L.
