The mo- tion will deal with appoint- ment of a member of the medical staff to the Board of Directors as a non-voting director. Other items dealt with were the development of a Heliport for the municipal- ity. Caisley reported on the manged a second place. his wife, Rhonda, were in Tumbler Ridge on Thurs- day, March 23, to provide instruction on wilderness survival techniques and wilderness medicine. On Friday and Saturday eve- nings, the groups went into the bush to practice their skills. All those who at- tended received certificates of achievement. On May 24 weekend, nine members took to the cliffs to learn basic cliff rescue. Instructors, Gordon Mai- ken, North Shore S.A.R., and Ross Montgomery, Jealth Centre news present state of the negoti- ations and the work of the Planning Commission. He said no funds had been allocated for this project. The members decided they wanted to have quar- terly newsletters sent to them to keep them in- formed. It was explained that, while this would be done, all board meetings, except for those matters of a confidential nature, were open to the public. The auditors presented their financial report. The Health Centre, despite a sharp decrease in provin-- cial funding last year, still had a surplus at the end of the fiscal period. On Saturday and Sunday the group proceeded to the cliff located on the highway near Bullmoose Meadows. There they practiced tech- niques, knots, and methods of rescue. The group has now com- pleted Part I of Basic Cliff Rescue, and plans to take Part II as soon as possible. A restricted radio opera- ting course is being pre- pared .and examination should be in the near future. The T.R.S.A.R. meets every Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. in the basement of the Municipal Hall.
