support St. John’s College UBC and enjoy charitable tax
_ benefits, including giving through the Johanneans’
- Educational Foundations in Hong Kong and in Canada as
_. well as through the UBC Foundation, the Hong Kong
~- Foundation for UBC and the American F oundation for UBC.
Through these foundations, donors may receive tax receipts _
which can be used against source income in Canada, Hong

Kong or the United States.

St. John’s Scholarships
In 1992, the St. John’s name re-emerged on the world _ |
academic scene, through the generosity of several :
Johanneans who helped to establish St. John’s Fellowships
_ for UBC graduate students. UBC also provided an equal

number of St. John’s Fellowships. This tradition of

recognizing excellence at UBC continues today.

This year two new fellowships have been established _
which will fund, in perpetuity, outstanding graduate
students. Thanks to the gracious support of family and
friends of the late Charles C.C. Wong, the Charles C.C.

_ Wong Memorial Fellowship has been established. |
The university would also like to pay tribute to the _

| generous support of Sir Quo-Wei Lee inthe

establishment of the Sir Quo-Wei Lee F ellowship.
